Art Splash!

There are a lot of things happening that will focus on the great artists we have in this community. With Art Splash coming up soon, Indigo Palette displaying local artists,  individual art shows, all the street art that Sioux City Go has put up, and so much more going on.  Now is a good time to buy art in Siouxland.  The Heartland has always focused on the earth and the common beauty of nature  and it is never more true than lately here in Siouxland.  Support local art, seek out local artists, and keep Siouxland, the Heart of Art.

Logo Contest!

Shot in the Dark Productions, a Sioux City theatre company, is in need of a new logo. Our Board of Directors came up with an excellent idea for this, send out a call to Siouxland artists in the form of a logo contest. We know Siouxland is rich with talented artists and we would like to offer them the opportunity to submit their original representations of Shot in the Dark to us. In addition to our logo contest, we would like to offer our lobby to local artist looking for a place to display their work for sale. While we are open for the run of our shows (usually for three weekends, with possible additional showings) we have 150-200 people pass through our doors. We are increasing our promotion efforts currently, so those numbers should be increasing. This would be an excellent opportunity for an artist to display his or her work. We would not charge a fee of any kind, we would only require that the artist provide his or her own means for display. If any artists are interested
in either of these opportunities, please have them contact Anne Fox at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . We have a Facebook page and a website Thank you for your time.
